image transparency

In my website I use a .GIF format for my pictures so that
they keep their transparency. When I print the web page
there is a white block surrounding thd image. It doesn't
sustain the tranparent property when I print.

What can I do to fix this problem.

Thanks,

Wade

That is a print driver issue, only seen it happen with the PostScript
driver.

I have the same issue when I click on a hyperlink since I
upgraded to FP 2003 last week. the link gets a white
dotted outline around it when clicked then transfers you
to the URL. Looks bad on a black backgound. No printer
driver involved here... Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Nate

I think it's a browser issue. you may be able to stop it with some .css
though. like
a:link{ border: transparent;} or some other trick.

Can you tell us the link on your site below that shows this?
