What are the steps in Photoshop CS2 for Image sizeing for a Power Point
presentation? My Infocus projector has a native resolution of 8800pp1 x 600
ppi.

There are about a million ways to size a picture in Photoshop.

I like to use the crop tool and just type 800 px in the Width box and 600 px
in the Height box on the crop tool toolbar thing that shows up at the top of
the screen when you click the crop tool. Make sure you type in the letters
px with the numbers or you might end up with something that's 800 inches
instead of 800 pixels!
