It's an SP2 6.0 file version. Others I find f.e. on Dll World, are 5.0 and
older.
Maybe the problem is SP2.

Great! Thanks for the feedback, Ronald. "Shell Image Verbs" is a built-in
handler and it's surprising to see that this has caused the problem.
Extracting a fresh copy of shimgvw.dll should help.

Wow!
It took some minutes to disable -first in blocks and finally 1 by 1- all of
them and I found the bastard!
It was 'ShellImageVerbs' from Windows Picture and Fax viewer.
