Hi!
When I try to view a picture file using the default program for windows xp (image preview), the program opens immediately, but hangs in the "generating preview" phase. It does not matter the size or resolution of this picture...this stage always takes at least 25 seconds, some times upwards of one minute. Here's the strange part, though...it only happens for the first picture I try to view...any picture immediately after that (even when I close image preview) will open immediately.
Here's my specs -
P4 2.8/ht
512 PC3200 DDR ram
Gforce 5500
120 gig samsun hdd
