Hi all.
I have been using XP Pro for a while now and generally install
picaview so that I can right-click image and media files in explorer
and preview them.
Last week I blew away my Laptop's XP and reinstalled XP Pro, SP2 and
Office 2003.
I noticed that I am able to preview images using right-click even
though I haven't installed Picaview. I don't know which program is
allowing me to see these previews. There is no program id shown on the
preview section of the right-click context menu.
Does anyone want to have a guess at which program from XP Pro or
Office 2003 is allowing me to see this preview on the right-click menu
popup?
The reason I want to find out is so that I can disable this function.
I prefer to see this image preview with picaview as it also allows me
to preview media files like MP3, MPG.
While looking for an answer, I notice people claiming that Picaview2
doesn't work with xp after SP2 has been applied. It works on my other
machine just fine with XP Pro and SP2.
