Image porblems

James

I have an image which is a line drawing of a building, so
black ink on a white background, well i scanned it in, the
background in near enough white. anyway, when i view it
in preview mode or browser it appears wtih a faint red
block down one side, very faint but still noticable. this
block of tone doesnt appear on the image normally though.

I cant seem to get rid of it.

Crop the image edges. Some programs add a pixel around the edges when you
resize. Line drawings should be scanned in as line drawings, not as color
images and saved as .gif.
