Image issues

Usually, all i have to do is right click an image and
press "set as desktop wallpaper" to make it my wallpaper.
But for some reason that option has dissapeared. Also, in
details it used to show the resolution of a selected
image, but this no longer works either. I discovered soon
after this started happening that Bitmap files still have
these two options available, but any other format does
not. Can anyone help me?

Try emptying your Temporary Internet Files (from Internet Options applet
in Control Panel or from Tools>Internet Options from within IE).
