Image gallery buttons

I've made thumbnail images of the photos on my website which obviously take
the viewer to the original large image, is there anyway i can put buttons on
the or near the original image so the viewer can go to the next picture or
last picture without hitting the back button and returning to choose the next
thumbnail.
I'm using frontpage 2000.

Yes and no, you have to create a individual page for each large image, then change the link from the
thumbnail to point to this page. However, unless you want to control the order that user uses to
view the gallery, you will not be able to add a link to determine what the next photo should be.

Without scripting, you would have to create a page for
each large photo, and hand code-the Prev and Next links on
each of those pages. Then, you would reconfigure the
hyperlinks on the thumbnails so they referred to the new
Web pages.
