We have tested sending GIF attachment to a hot mail (plain text format from
outlook2000)

1)Outlook2000(SvcPack3 & Win2k)

2)Outlook2000(SvcPack1 & Win2k)

mail from machine (1) Directly displaying the GIF file and also giving the
option to dowload in the hotmail(Images is Displayin in the body),
Whereas machine (2) displays the GIF file attachment
only(in the header ) to dowload ,no direct display.

we prefer the second choice ,i.e We don't want to display the GIF directly
when a user opens the mail in hotmail, what options can I set on the outlook
to achive this ???

Any help would be greately appriciated

Thanks
Sai

Are both machines receiving the message as HTML? That's the only way #1 is
doing it - unless you are using OE, not OL there.
