image editor

Really, really dumb question but I saw a post recently in which someone was
wanting to get that faded line effect and the reply was to past the image
into an image editor and manipulate it there. Will MS Digital Image Pro 9 do
this?
 
I think you need a graphics application and not a image/photo application.

Not familiar with MSDIP9, but if it can apply a gradient fill to an object you should be able to.
