I'm trying to share borders with my current web but Frontpage doesn't like me
share borders. I've created a web with 15 pages too. ANy help?

What happens when you try to apply the border?
Did you create a Web first?

Sorry that Front Page doesn't like you.

Perhaps a dumb question on my part: have you consulted
Front Page help on the topic of shared borders?

If so and you are still having problems, please provide a
bit more detail like what specific steps have you taken
in your attempts at applying shared borders to your site.
Does this happen in your disk-based web or only in your
server-based web?

Tools/Page Options/ Authoring - Author-time Web Components - tic "Shared
Borders"
Then open a page, Format/Shared Borders (the dialog box that opens is self
explanatory)

I have a shared border at the bottom of my web pages, and want to create one
on the left side. Is it OK to have two shared borders?

I have been unable to get the shared border to appear on the left side.

I want to copy my navigational hyperlinks into the shared border. Should
this work?

Thanks!

You can have shared borders on all 4 sides of the page and create your nav
buttons/text in any/all of them.

Make sure you have your FP Web/Site Open
Then use Format Shared Borders and select the ones you want (w/ or w/o navigation)
- In FP 2003 make sure Shared borders are enabled in Tools Page Options Authoring
