Shared Border help / Guidance Please - Frontpage 2003

Hi There,

I would like to seek guidance on shared borders please. If I have several
websites created under my "my webs" folder and want to have different shared
borders set-up for each website - can I do this?

I suspect that each time I create as hared border for one website and then
work on another website - frontpage appears to drop the shared border design.

I thought shared borders could be formatted for each website and they
wouldn't change when opening up another website and selecting shared borders
on that.

Is this a quirk of FP2003 or am I doing something wrong - any advice please?

Matt

Yes, shared borders are per website, one set of shared borders per web (on
or off per page)...they do not cross to subwebs either.

Do your web folders under My Webs have blue globes on the folder icon?

Thanks for the response Rob,

Yes I have checked and the five websites all have the blue-globe icon.
Grateful for the clarification - it might be myself not grasping - because i
tend to have worked on a website and then move onto the next - only when I've
gone back to the previous website my previously set shared borders appears to
lose their design / details.

Matt.
