you shouldn't have to do anything. it should connect using the same default
connection IE is using unless you configured accounts to use specific
connections in tools, accounts (more settings button once you open the
affected account using Change).
My proxy server requires authentication. So if I use the same settings as in
Internet Exlorer, then it shows the error message that server requires
authentication and stops. It does not ask for the authentication (username
and password). How can I overcome this problem?
Have you tried logging in using IE first? If auth works only for the app
that provided it, you'll need to speak with your admin - you may need a
proxy utility that will log you in.
