Since Ihave installed office 2003 I can no longer send emails around 1mb and
over. Small text files still send fine. What can I do to enable larger files
to be sent?

if you are using an antivirus scanner, disable email scanning, especially of
outbound email.

Contact your ISP or your mail admin - Outlook sets no size limits on outgoing mail, that is the province of the ISP/Mail Admin.

Thankyou for your help it would appear as though the problem is related to
my antivirus software PC_cillin, however turning off the outgoing mail scan
does not seem to work. When I completely uninstalled PC-cillin the mail did
send. I then reinstalled and the mail will no longer send. I guess I am going
to have to call Trend and ask them for help.

Hi Milly

Thanks for your help however the problem appears to be related to my
antivirus software PC-cillin. When I uninstalled the program the mail sent
fine then when I reinstalled the program even though I turned email
monitoring off for outgoing messages the mail still would'nt send. So I guess
I will have to call someone at Trend.

Yours thankfully

Ruxy
