I'm having problems when I try the Test Account Settings...

I'm trying to connect my yahoo mail account to outlook, but I can't get it
too work. When I click the "Test Account Settings..." the message I get is:

Find outgoing mail server (SMTP): Outlook could not connect to the outgoing
mail server (SMTP). The problem could be the server name or port, or your
server may not support SSL. Veryify your port and SSL settings in More
Settings under the Advanced tab.

I followed the direction that's at

still having problems. Could someone help?

Assuming that you have a paid account at Yahoo (you cannot use Outlook with a
free Yahoo account), go to the Advanced tab of your account settings* and
verify that the boxes for SSL are clear.

Tools|E-mail Accounts... View or change existing e-mail accounts,
double-click on your account, click "More Settings", then go to Advanced.

but it was almost working tho. it was up to 50% then it had an error. ~_~
grrr...i wish i could get it to work.

if it is a free account, it will never work.
