I have Media Player 10 and have burned CD's with it without any problems.
But know when I hit the "start burn" button, I keep getting a window popup
telling me to insert a blank disc when I know the disc are blank...I have a
hand full of pulls and a gun to my head...Please Help!

Have you installed anything (programs) recently that would change your
system setup? Like programs relating to the CD burner? If not, try to do a
Restore, you can go back up to 90 days:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
If that did not solve your problem, you may have picked up some spyware/
malware while surfing the Web:

If you take CD burning this seriously, you should probably do the gene
pool a big favour and just kill yourself now.

Did you change the brand of writable CD's?
Sell the gun and buy some rewritables - at least you don't get covered with
coasters.

sounds daft but have you cleaned the lens in your drive?? mine did exactly
the same. I took the drive apart , cleaned it and now it's fine.

I keep getting the same thing "insert a blank CD" yet I already did. Did
you find a fix for this problem?
