Can't Burn from a Fves to DVD

D

Dallas

I am trying, unsuccessfully so far, to burn a Fave list of songs onto a DVD.
I move the songs into the Pane on the right, put the DVD RW into the disc &
when I click on Burn Disc, I keep getting the error message below while the
drive opens. So I then click on either the X or Cancel, the Drive closes, &
I press Burn again, & the same set of events takes place ! Not sure what to
do. I am using WMP11

here's the text of the error message:
"Please insert a blank disc into Drive E. Once WMP detects the new disc, it
will automatically start burning". but it doesn't. The disc is blank, so
again, I don't know what to do

thanks very much

geez, me, thanks Jerry! some kid, whom I expected to know far more than I,
sold me the dvd's as he said I'd get much more music on them ! Then again,
what do I know ?!

Thanks again Jerry & I'll look into the link provided.

oh, also, I tried a few CD-R's & while they say, via My Comp. they have
702Mb Free Space, when I try & burn them, it doesn't work; also in the MY PC
window, it offers no Erase option, tho' I am sure they are blank, & in the
MY PC window, it says in the left pane or right click pulldown of the
Drive, it says to "write these files to CD" ! SO I figure, what the heck, so
I try that & then the CD Writing Wizard pops up & says I cannot !

whew, too much for my neophyitic (new word) old mind !

Thanks again Jerry! Enjoy your eve

Again, many thanks Jerry, I guess what I should have said is the CD-R's
don't even have anything on them. They say 702 free space & when I open
them, there is nothing at all in them.

Yes, I will definitely look at the link provided, but have just been able
to jump on for a few here & there.

be well Jerry
