Illegal operation- page fault module URLMON.DLL

I'm using version 6.0. Recently I'm getting persistent
shut down error messages. Details are "Explorer caused an
invalid page fault in module URLMON.DLL at
017f:la40c34d." Oddly enough it seems to only happen when
I am surfing on eBay and a page starts to load. I have
searched microsoft articles to no avail. The only
reference I can find is article 254490 which does not seem
to apply. please help!

You're certainly not alone on this. This thread on Ebay's forum
suggests it's an Andale counter problem...

I think it has to do with Andale's counters. I've been getting similar msgs
during the last couple of weeks.

IE Help>About>Update Versions> If Q818529 isn't listed here, get it via
Windows Update.

If Q818529 is installed, re-register the DLL file listed in this KB article:
