I recently reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled the
operating system. Unfortunately, I did not have Windows XP
Home Edition CD's and drive CD's. I had four
(4) "recovery" CD's that would restore my computer to the
state it was in when I bought it. Once I got everything
reinstalled and running correctly I went into control
panel to clean out the programs I don't use.
THIS IS THE PROBLEM:
When I click remove on a program I don't use, let's
say "Atomic Pop" instead of the installshield wizard
coming up and uninstalling the program I get an error
dialogue box that reads as follows:
X The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be
launched. No such interface supported.
Does anyone know how I get around this or get it working?
