I am using windows xp with service pack sp1 and IE 6.
I am using FrontPage XP and, I believe I only had
FrontPage 2000 Extensions installed.

I was having a problem with FrontPage in school and the
teacher suggested I install FrontPage 2002 extensions.

I did this and there were no apparent problems.

When I opened FrontPage the default web site had a red
circle with the word error in it.

I tried to resolve the problem but could not.

My teacher suggested I un-install and re-install IIS.

I was able to un-install it but when I try to re-install,
it is asking for at least two files.

I was asked to place the sp1 cd into the drive and it was
searching for file "infocomm.dll" The file could NOT be
located on my computer and could not be located on the
sp1 cd. The same thing happened with file "default.asp".

I downloaded sp1 onto a cd.

I am lost. Any help would be welcome.

Thanks,

Art

When the procedure asks for the infocomm.dll file, point to one of the
folders in c:\windows\ that begin with $NTUninstallxxx$ or
C:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

These files are the ones downloaded from Windows update or from your CD
during the upgrade procedure. I think the file you are talking about may be
one of the later upgrade ones and not on the original CD.
