Installing IIS after SP1

I am trying to install IIS on XP Pro SP1, using the usual 'Add Remove
Programs/Add Windows Component' and by selecting IIS. Windows is
asking for the Windows XP CD. However, I am reluctant to go ahead with
the installation because the CD does not contain SP1.

An expert suggestion will be appreciated. Is this going to mess things
up?

thanks

That should only then get files that do not have later versions already
present, so it will not damage anything SP1 or other patches have
modified. Then once installed, go to Windows Update to see if you are
offered any critical patches for the result - AFAIK there hasn't been
anything specific to IIS that you would not have had in the ordinary way
