May you? That's another question. The legality of "poaching" on someone
else's wireless network is ill addressed in the many state (national) laws.
There have been many articles about this in the computer press the last few
months - in some places people have been successfully prosecuted for network
intrusion.
Of courese, in some places wirless hot spots are set up for free just for
that purpose. Beware though, the possibility of someone else monitoring
your surfing is a distinct possibility.
