I'd guess that you're looking at the javascript in an html file that
PowerPoint's created.
It may be part of a routine that says essentially "If it's PowerPoint that's
reading this HTML, Do This. Otherwise, if you're a browser, do something
else."
You'd need to find somebody who knows Javascript to work it out in more detail
and you'd need to supply a lot more of the code than that for them to have a
shot at it.
