If not RAM will monitor work

Will the monitor even turn on if there is no ram? I know the MOBO will just
beep....beep....beep. But will the Monitor stay off with the little orange
light instead of green?

thanks

No, and 3 beeps repeating over and over is usually bad or missing memory.
Try reseating the memory.

-it's not three beeps, its just
beep...beep...beep...beep...beep...Nonstop.....but...
there is no memory in the machine, I've taken it out, but had to remove
the Video card....actually had to yank it out because for some reason it
would not budge. The memory went back as an RMA today and they shipped
replacement memory today also. I just tried to see if the video card went
crazy or not, gues I wont be able to until I get the memory.

If the video card is the problem from memory the POST code is (only) 3
beeps, 1 short, 1 long and then another short (could be wrong so sue me),
the earlier poster was coorect when they said 3 beeps REPEATING OVER AND
OVER is the signal of dud ram or no ram at all, the post code just continues
on beeping until you turn it off.
