IF and VLOOKUP - Any good reference webpages?

Hi,

I am having a terrible time getting my head around all the ins and outs of
using the IF and VLOOKUP functions. Does anyone know of any helpful
webpages (especially if it is good for dummies) that I could view?

Both are Dave McRitchie and you'll find it worth bookmarking the link

Peter Noneley has a workbook with examples of uses of many functions:

But for particular uses the best resource will probably be posting to
worksheet.functions newsgroup.

There are literally thousands of threads on each of those subjects
that have been asked (and answered) in these newsgroups.

Might I suggest a search of Google:

and if you still don't come up with what you want, post back with
more specifics of what you want to do.
