iexplorer - font size suddently changed???

I have a win2000 pro station and I am having a strange issue with the
internet explorer font. I didn't change any setting on the display or system
font, however the ie font changed to a very small (very hard to read) size
when I turned the machine on this morning. The font on the startpage of
vs.net also changed. Fonts for the system and other applications stay the
same.
Any help, ideas, or input please.

Do you have a mouse with a wheel on it?

If so click into a window that has the incorrect size text and hold down
the CTRL key while rolling the mouse wheel
