iexplorer.exe - Application Error

When launching IE I get the following error:
The instruction at "0xc4b55988" referenced memory at "0xc4b55988". The
memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.

I am running IE 6 SP1. I have run the Beta1 version of MS AntiSpyware
removal and AdAware. I tried reinstalling IE and removed any software such as
Yahoo and anything else that was not an MS product. All to no avail. Any
suggestions would be appreciated

Hi Peter, thank you for your response. Removing Adobe did not resolve my
issue. As a matter of fact since I removed the spyware, I don't get the first
message any more. I get the typical "Microsoft Internet Explore has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." If there are any other solutions, I am open to any. Thank you
for your time and committment to this community.
