Application Error iexplorer.exe - Additional "new" input

After reviewing a number of posts regarding the application error message: {
"Iexplorer.exe The instruction at "xxxxxxxxxx" referred memory at
"xxxxxxxxx". The memory could not be read. } I did not find anyone who noted
the exact problem when using the Mozilla Firefox Browser.

I obtain the error message after closing IE and Firefox. Simply opening my
home page without "surfing" other sites or running any other program prior to
using the broswers causes the error message.

I have XP Home sp2, Firefox 1.04, IE 6.0 sp2. I have checked to be sure the
latest version of java is installed (it is). I have run Spybot as well as
Miscrosoft's Beta Antispyware, all without detected issues.

Current version of ZeroAds and Norton Security 2005 run in the background as
well as latest version of Yahoo Messenger.

I'm right in there with you: XP Pro with SP2 plus, and IE 6.0.2900.2180.
Acrobat Reader 7, too.

And I just tried disabling the Acrobat Browser Helper Object, to see if it
made a difference. I think it crashes a little less often because of the
javascript popup windows, but it still happens, as does the Read Memory
error. I may keep trying, with a few other additional "legitimate" BHOs
(ie, non-spyware), but I think one of the recent patches just has some
problems.

Iexplorer.exe is spyware. IE is Iexplore.exe
First eliminate any spyware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function

The message is an Application Error for iexplore.exe -- I'm sure his
original post was a typo

Mine is continuing to occur -- and I've disabled nearly all BHOs now -- all
from legitimate programs, I might add.

Thank You JJ..It was indeed a typo on my part...Frank may have solved the
problem for me...Here is what I did, following his suggestion, recognizing
that I had used Spybot and MS Beta-antispyware to check for issues (there
were none),
downloaded a copy of

LSP-Fix - a free program to repair damaged Winsock 2 stacks (all Windows
versions)

There were "corrections" that were automatically "fixed" with this LSP-Fix
download. Rebooted the computer. I then turned off my modem and router,
turned off the computer, turned the router and then modem on, and the
re-started the computer. {The sequence is listed EXACTLY} So far, I have used
both IE and Firefox multiple times and there is no error message.
