iexplore.exe fails every minute

I recently started having iexplore.exe fail about every minute on my PC. It
doesn't matter whether I started it or not. I get the error report dialog box
popping up.

Here is text from the Error Signature:

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 7.0.6000.16414 ModName: nvappfilter.dll
ModVer: 2.2.0.488 Offset: 0000a357

I have run Spybot and cleaned up some problems that it indicated, but am
still getting the same failure. Can you please give me some insight as to
what the problem might be? If you need more info please let me know.

nvappfilter.dll is associated with the NVidia Nforce Network Access
Manager - http://www.nvidia.com/object/security.html

I disabled the NVIDIA firewall rebooted the computer and started up the
Windows provided firewall. I am still experiencing the same error. I don't
understand why this is happening. What is causing the error to occur every
minute? I get this even if I am not running Internet Explorer at all.

I don't know. Maybe you need to uninstall that firewall. Have you
contacted the tech support for it? Also did you try a system restore to
before it started? You stated it was recent. What changed between when
things were ok and now? Any updates of any kind?

Sorry to take so long to post back final solution. I had a virus on the
computer that was causing the problem. I was able to remove the virus and the
iexplore failures stopped.
