IEXPLORE.EXE - Application Error

About every 2nd or 3rd time I exit out of Internet
Explorer 6.0, I receive the following Application error:

The instruction at "0c01bb2d78" referenced memory
at "0x01ce06dc". The memory could not be "read". Click on
OK to terminate the program

then I click OK and get:

Runtime error 216 at 00002D78

then I click OK and it shuts down.

I cannot pinpoint any particualr action that caused this
and I cannot find any specific support info!

Any insight would be appreciated!
