IE7 UPGRADE, NOW EMAIL TEXT IS FUZZY UNLESS AT HIGH RESOLUTION

Hi - I recently (my tech person) updated my system to IE7, and all the
attendant security alerts and updates were done as well.

Rather than use a new monitor because I couldn't stand the tiny fonts
that come with a high resolution, I had gone back to an old monitor
and I got the fonts perfect using the lowest resolution. Then with
the upgrades the fonts in emails got fuzzy and the text often had a
greenish tint. My tech guy who is great couldn't correct this. I
switched to another monitor AOpen, which is newer, but not an LCD.
Adjusting "properties" i have to make the screen resolution at the
lowest setting. Therefore, it is fuzzy still (remember it wasn't
until I had to do the IE7 upgrade). Even now typing this is
fuzzyish. My emails often have a greenish tint coming into my inbox.
If I change the resolution in the settings, the fonts then become too
small, i find them really hard to read.

Any ideas here?

Thanks.

Hi Patty,

You could give this a try..........

Open Internet Options, go to Advanced tab and then scroll down to Multimedia
and uncheck "Always use ClearType for HTML", Apply, OK.

Regards,
