My 10 year old son went to the Microsoft site and did me a "favor": he
installed IE7 whilst I was out. And now, nothing works right! There's a
reason they call it a beta!

How do I revert back to IE6? I already did a System Restore and restored
the executable. How do I remove all traces of IE7 and go back to IE6?

Thanks!

Ross

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 and return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP:

1. Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
2. Click "Add or Remove Programs."
3. Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
4. Scroll down the list to "Windows XP - Software Updates," select "Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview," and then click
"Change/Remove."
5. If "Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2" does not exist,
run: %windir%\$NtUninstallie7bet2p$\spuninst\spuninst.exe
(To do this, you need to have "view hidden folders" enabled.)

The kid has a bright future.

Did you try Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs and then clicking on the
button on the left that says Add/Remove Windows Components?

Carey's right, my mistake.

Thanks, Carey! Life is back to normal -- a life with Firefox is *not* one I
wanted! :-)
