IE7 and Email

I have installed and uninstalled IE7 three times because
on each occasion it has corrupted my OE6.
Everything appears OK, but I cannot send or receive
emails.
I now have a problem with IE6 so my question is:
Is there any way I can install IE7 and avoid the email
problem? Also have there been any recent changes to
IE7 which might make a difference to this problem?

Neil. I've found that SP3 fixed whatever it was that
corrupted my emails, and now have IE7 up and
working.
