In IE6 with SP2 XP Home if I go to Tools>Internet options>Security>Trusted
sights. the sites button stays "greyed" out. I guess I'm too dumb but how
do I add sites if i can't press the button? It's the same on the Internet
icon. Local Intranet abd Restricted sites is ok........

Al,

Open Registry Editor and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\Zones\2

In the right-pane, set the "Flags" value to 67 (*Decimal*)

That did fix part of the problem. But the Internet "sites" button is still
"greyed out".
By the way, I do appreciate all the help from MVP's

You're welcome, Al. By default, the Sites button is grayed out for the
Internet Zone. The sites which you've not added in any other zone, comes
under Internet Zone.
