IE6 won't open

I can't get internet explorer to open. I click the icon and
nothing happens, I have uninstalled it reloaded it did a
repair on it even tryed an XP PRO> reinstall and still
can't launch it. yahoo and netscape work but no IE^. I
downloaded some IE6 downloads on Saturday early and later
on in the day I put a cd in my computer and the computer
crashed and when it came back up, No IE6. Does anyone have
an idea what might be wrong?

Thank You very much Ramesh! It was the "enable third party
browser extentions" that turned out to be the problem, I
had spent two days trying every thing, Thanks again,

Wayne,

It's just a workaround. By disabling 3rd party extensions, you're telling IE not to load a third-party helper object. But, it's still there in the system. Spot it using Toolbarcop and remove it.
