IE6 won't display .pdf files unless Adobe Reader is open.

If I don't have the Adobe Reader program open, then when I am browsing with
IE6 and come across a .pdf link, the file won't open. An alert says that IE
can't find Adobe Reader. I already have the option checked to make .pdf
files open in IE, but it won't do it until Adobe Reader is already open. How
do I just make it automatically open the files?

I had this problem too. I fixed it by uninstalling acrobat 6, the
uninstalling acrobat 5 then reinstalling acrobat 6.

Hope this helps!
