IE6 will NOT Sync offline web pages... (patch problem possibly?)

Greetings.

I have IE6 with all the patches... I use ActiveSync
3.7.1, and I have a Siemens SX56 Pocket PC Phone.

Earlier this week when I installed the latest patch that
came out for XP or whatever it was, IE6 Decided it no
longer wanted to Sync my mobile/offline IE favorites.

This is not an ActiveSync issue... uninstalled it...
then reinstalled it...its fine. Nor is it a problem with
my handheld... Did a HARD reset on my Siemens
phone/PocketPC..., it has always worked fine even before
the HARD reset.

There was a patch that came out earlier this week for
something... after that had downloaded and installed...
I can no longer Sync from IE6, Tools, Synchronize. It
will open the window... and start to hang after a little
bit... but nothing syncs.

Anybody have a resolution for this issue or are having
the same problem. Trust me... I have tried
everything.. and I am plum out of ideas.

Some users report that there has been a problem with passwords
being lost as a result of the update. Are some of your Favorites
password-enabled? Perhaps you just need to review that (e.g. with the Properties, Download tab Login... button) for any such
offline Favorite
that you are having trouble with.

Some of my content DID need a password,
AccuWeather.com ...etc... but still... even with my
userass enabled in the fav setting.. It still will not
sync. I have a few other favs with no user : pass
needed.. and IE 6 still will not sync them.

It will say its Synchronizing them.. but its not... it
just sits there.

Evil...lol

Is depth a factor? E.g. are you trying to synchronize with pages
the Favorites link to as well?

Give an example of a public site which isn't working and we may
be able to give you some more ideas.
