IE6 will not open

The moment I clicked a link on Northern Illinois
University's website my IE6 browser window just
disappeared. From that point on my browser will not open.
I scanned my computer for any possible viruses but found
none. I reinstalled IE6 but the browser still wouldn't
open. Any ideas on what may have gone wrong?

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
