IE6 will not launch

I have noticed that scores fo IE6 users report the same
problem on Jan 26. same thing happend to me. IE6 starts
then says "Ie6 has encounterd a problem, must shut down
now" Do you want to report the problem ..... blah blah
blah.

Does MS have a clue as to what is causing this widespread
malady? Where should one look for the latest info on this?

I am coming here via (gasp!) Netscape which seems
unaffected.
 
I'm having the same problem. Anyone have a clue what
causes this or any solutions? It's really frustrating.
 
I am having the same problem. "IE encountered a problem and must shut down, do you want to report the error" Can someone help???
