IE6--What Causes 'Page Cannot be Displayed?'

My 6.0 IE will at various times just give me the 'Page Cannot Be Displayed'
page. This may happen at the end of a full day of use or, as it just
happened, soon after I rebooted my computer. Rebooting appears to be the
only thing that will eliminate the error message--momentarily.

Please advise. Thanks

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

I'll try these fixes too, but more specifically, I get
this message at the bottom of the IE Window:
"Downloading from site: res://C:\WINDOWS\System32
\shdoclc.dll/dsnerror.htm" what does this mean and will
these fixes work?
Thanks.
