ie6 stops and starts.

Hi,
About a week ago our ie6 started to do strange things.
Every seven minutes (approx) the whole thing freezes up.
After about a minute and a half, it all comes back to life
and works as normal for (approx) seven minutes and then
freezes up again! I've run Spybot and Adaware but neither
of them have found anything. Has anyone else found this
problem recently? Any ideas as to how to cure it? Many
