IE6 slow on startup

Only recently, my IE6 has started to take about 10 seconds to open after
clicking on the icon. What could the problem be?
 
Go to Tools, Internet Options and select Delete Files. You
also need to defragment your hard disk (My Computer, right
click C Drive, Properties, Tools tab, Defragment now).
