IE6 settings prohibit running ActiveX

Hello All,

I have my IE6 set to disable activeX downloads. Does any one know how to
stop the pop-up that happens every time I visit a page (besides enabling
ActiveX downloads)

* The computer Beeps, then displays:

"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page. As a result, the page may not display correctly."

* Then I have to press OK to continue.

I would really like to turn this information box off.

Thanks for any ideas!

Under Internet Explorer: Tools, Internet Options, Security Custom Level.

Reset your Custom Settings to Medium.

Hello,

I do not want flash on my machine.
Every time I go to a site, ie asks if I want to install the plug in, I say
no.

I wanted to stop constant prompting this so I've disabled the downloading
of plugins (activex controls).
Now I get to a page that has flash (usually a banner ad) a pop-up warning
that my security settings do not allow downloading; then I have to press
"OK" to get ride of the box.

Q: Is there a way to disable this warning?, without re-enabling the download
of plug-ins?

The result I would like is that If I go to a page that contains flash
components, they just don't work and that's the end of it. No warnings, no
pop-up box's, just load what you can and be done with it.

Thanks
