ie6 security lock

My ie6 browser no longer displays the little yellow icon down below when I'm
in secure sites. What can the problem be? Am I now vulnerable to hackers?
 
Again, as the other thread as the same; this is probably the most important
question that could ever be asked in an IE thread, and nobody has an answer.
