IE6 Problem

Hi all,

this morning I went on a website and clicked someting a bit suspect knowing
i had upto date anti virus running.

since that point i can no longer get on any website through IE6

I can ftp and ping and collect and send mail and even surf with mozilla
browser.

i went to ms website and tried to download IE6 again but it said i had it
already and would i like to reinstall anyway so i said yes.. but no fix.

I am using Win 2K Pro and always have latest updates. there doesn't appear
to be nything odd in my task list and virus scanner says I am clean.

any ideas?

First eliminate any spyware. An anti-virus won't block most spyware.

CAUTION!!!!! Before you try to remove spyware using any of these programs ,
download a copy of LSPFIX from any of the following sites:

I still have the problem of certain sites closing the IE application .
I have the latest Microsoft spyware beta, it reports I am clean.
I have also deleted and re-installed IE6.
I have installed SP1 from Microsoft.
99% works, it is just a few sites that seem to do this.Could it be related
to my settings?
