IE6 problem

Hi and thanks for your attention

I have XP home version and when I am using IE I can only have one IE app
open at a time. If I try and open another IE program to have two running
together it won't allow this it just shuts down the first one. This also
happens on some web sites when using a hypertext link which opens a new
window, it opens the new window but closes the original window.

I have Mcafee internet suite installed but I'm pretty sure it's nothing to
do with that as I have the same set up on my note book and that is ok.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's doing my head in

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I have tried this to no avail. Even when I do the
control 'N' command it opens a new IE page but closes the existing one.

I have checked all the advance settings which exactly match my laptop and
that works fine.

It is really doing my head in now.
