IE6 page cannot be displayed

Hi,
When i try to view some secured sites (not all) i get an error message
cannot find server/dns error. Having problems with ebay, microsoft passport
and msn messenger. I have tried disabling norton internet security to no
avail. I have also tried some of the solutions listed on support but nothing
works. Can someone help me please??

You can try the steps from the folowing link :

If that doesnot help try reinstalling INternet Explorer by locating the
ie.inf file. This file is hidden so use the show hidden files option. You
need to right click on that file and click install. It will ask you for winxp
cd so use to install it.
