I cannot connect to sign in to microsoft passport. It use to work before.
I am using IE6 sp1 on a Win 2K Adv Svr box. I can browse the internet fine.
When I go to MSN home page, the passport sign in doesn't show up. When I
try to go to Hotmail, I get a page cannot be displayed. I tried
reinstalling IE, Outlook, and turned off antivirus and firewall. I still
had no luck. Please help.

Remove MSN Messenger v6.2

and.....

#1.-- You need to be logged on as an Administrator if running Windows XP
(have Full Rights) otherwise you will be limited to "Chat" and will not be
able to Modify/Delete/Change Files or transfer/send or receive files,
E-mails etc.

#2.-- Go To START >RUN> type in the Input window: ReGsvr32.exe softPUB.DLL "

#3.-- Change the Internet Explorer Settings: Tools>Internet
Options>Security>Setting> and set to Medium or Low...

#4.-- Uninstall MSN Messenger... Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>
find MS Messenger and uninstall it.

#5.-Repair Internet Explorer. Then reinstall MSN messenger... NOT the beta
v6.

#6.-- If you are using a proxy, make sure the settings are correct. If you
use LAN, then check to be sure the "Proxy server" box is Unchecked.

If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps
