IE6 on Win2K

Hello:

We have a machine running win2kPro.

We ran norton anti virus and have three (3)
infected files that norton will/can not repair:

msrexe.exe
svcinit.exe
win.def

The machine will not access our LAN for internet
connection. When we initiate IE6.0, the FIRST window to
pop up has the following address:

res://c/winnt/sys32/shdoclc.dll/navcancl.htm

THEN...
all hell breaks loose.

Multiple--multiple--multiple IE windows attempt to open,
all showing "page not available".

We are also getting an error:

ccapp.exe has stopped running.

Other than making this machine a boat anchor...

Any suggestions are appreciated.
