IE programme will not run - have not done anything for
this to happen i.e deleted files etc..when i click on the
IE icon to start, it comes up with the
following....Internet explorer has encountered a problem
and need to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Needs to close!......it hasn't even started!!!! Have been
able to load MSN messenger to get back on the net but
need IE to run some programmes and history, favourites
etc.. Would really appreciate some HELP!!

to start ie hopefully, start, control panal, internet
connections,internet, advanced,uncheck 'enable third party
browser extensions,apply,ok,.. and ie should open. then
download spybot at safer-networking.org ,update, scan on
the easy mode and remove your browser hijacker. also use
immunize.
and then reinable third party browser extensions in ie
,tools,options, etc.

Open the Internet Options applet in Control Panel. On the Advanced tab
uncheck Enable third party browser enhancements.

Then eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

Go to Start | Run and type
msconfig
and press <Enter>.
On the Startup tab uncheck everything. Run a complete system scan with an
up-to-date anti-virus. Then see
